Software development companies “Webmedia” and “Euritecha” are joining their forces
The two joined companies Webmedia and Euritecha will form one of the most comprehensive software development and consultancy companies in Lithuania. The newly formed company will act under the Webmedia brand and is well positioned to grow into the market leader on the Lithuanian market.
Webmedia Lithuania is recognized on the Lithuanian market as a leading software development and business consultancy company delivering services to the most demanding customers in the areas of telecommunication, financial services, public sector, retail and media. In Lithuania Webmedia’s customers include Omnitel, SEB, Teo LT, Bitė Lietuva and others. In addition to Lithuanian customers Webmedia is working with large international enterprises in Scandinavia, such as TeliaSonera, Mölnlycke Healthcare, AstraZeneca..
The merger will further increase the company’s ability to deliver a wide spectrum of services, and there will be more growth opportunities for the 74 people that will work in Webmedia after the merger.
The director of Webmedia Arnoldas Jankūnas stated that both companies have a very similar culture. Both companies have historically been focused on offering a faster time to value for its customers, combining speed of implementation, quality and lower total cost of ownership. Webmedia is now even better positioned to help its customers in complex projects that require external business consultancy and process re-engineering.
After the merger Webmedia will be the largest competence center in Lithuania for Microsoft specialists, enabling the company to take on the most challenging projects in application development and system integration.
Webmedia Lithuania was established in 2005 and belongs to Webmedia Group which has offices in Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, Romania and Serbia and clients in 15 countries in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Webmedia Group is one of the largest software development companies in the Baltic region and one the fastest-growing software development companies in Northern Europe. Webmedia Group is owned by management and key employees and there are over 350 specialists working in the company. Consolidated Webmedia Group service revenues exceeded 10 million Euros and operating profit was 1 million Euros.
Euritecha was established in 2001 and delivers software development and integrations services. Company specializes in Microsoft technologies: .NET, SQL Server, BizTalk. Company has experience in manufacturing, retail, distribution, services and logistics areas. In the beginning of this year “Euritecha” presented their own developed product for manufacturing companies focusing on optimization of resource utilization and on-time order delivery.
